The involvement of Paddyfield’s principal involvement in the technology industry goes back 40 years, including R&D, marketing and sales stints at such multinationals such as Wang Laboratories, Nynex and Logica. In addition to Paddyfield — one of Hong Kong’s first and most durable e-commerce firms — there have been start-ups in mass-market chip design and production using facilities in Russia, a joint with the Russian (and before that Soviet) Academy of Sciences.

Consulting and advice has been extended to multinationals, government agencies, and individuals companies from the United States, Hong Kong, China and Russia in international joint ventures, product internationalization, product design and public relations.
